The beginning of her career Vanessa Ray was a part-time actress or occasional part on stage, as well as TV shows. She was a regular character in the TV soap drama As the World turns. The series focused on everyday life of medical and lawyers. Her role became famous due to her portrayal of Jenny Griffith in Suits, the legal drama. Harvey Specter, a lawyer in the show, along with Mike his assistant were solving the cases. It was hailed as a success by critics and received numerous prizes. Blue Bloods is another of her works.
