Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. The girl is of French Canadian, German and Irish heritage. Cony High School, Augusta was the place where she received the high jump award. Columbia University in New York City was where she earned two degrees in economics and math. When she began modeling and launching a lucrative career in high-profile firms such as Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, and L'Oreal. Rachel began her transition into acting after being offered a role on the HBO comedy Sex and the City (1998). Her first film role was Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: The Story of How Harry met Lloyd (2003). Her success continued by appearing in films like The Amityville Horror (2006), The Inside (2005) and Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a regular part as the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Columbia University was her graduation with a double major in economics as well as math. She played the lead character Kiera Cameron as a police officer in the science fiction film Continuum (2012). She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. The first time she auditioned for a role was for a hostess in a restaurant in Sex and the City (1998). Her maternal grandfather was three-quarters Italian and one-quarter German, as was her maternal grandmother, who was of English and Scottish roots. Both Nichols together with Star Trek (2009) star Zoe Saldana, went on to work for Stephen Lang. Saldana was with Lang in Avatar 2009; Nichols with Lang Conan the Barbarian 2011. She was engaged to Michael Kershaw, a real estate developer, on the night of December 30th 2013. She is naturally blonde.
